How to Interview
Here’s the basics:
- Arrive approximately 10 minutes early- anything before makes things a little awkward for the employer and anything after runs you the risk of being late.
- Dress to impress/ professionally dressed. Close toe shoes are a must.
- Take a copy of your resume and/or a list of references
- A pen/note pad with your prepared questions.
- Research the company
- Practice interviewing with a friend to help ease nerves
- Remember YOU are interviewing the company as much as they are interviewing you.
- Ask questions: what are the next steps, who will I report to, when are you looking to have the role filled, how many patients will I be responsible to care for? What challenges do you foresee in this role? What do you like the most about working with this company?
